HAPPY NEW YEAR- and good riddance. 2011 gave us the longest Barnum & Bailey clown show in history. The group of potential Presidential candidates, unprepared and ignorant of the real challenges of America, shamed themselves and voters beyond reason and reality. Isn't it time for a dramatic change in our election process. Why 2 years of agony? The smartest, most talented country in the world can't come up with a potential 3 month, yes 3 month election process. I mean, really, do we have to have 25 debates or years of angst and indecision. Think about it, in retrospect, the Herman Cain, the Rick Perry, embarrassed our great Republic and the founding fathers beyond belief. The only thing positive is the economy was helped by creating jobs from big money investments in their futures. Other than that is a mad waste of your time and mine. And my time is more valuable.

TYPICAL NEWT; FLAMETHROWER AND LIAR

You know you think you've heard everything until; NEWT GINGRICH leading in the polls. This washed up old crazy guy keeps hanging around despite being disgraced and asked to step down as Speaker of the House. But, don't think he isn't smart, well cagey is a better word. His flamethrower soundbites and constant lies are his trademark shtick, that keeps him in the news and sells books, audio cassettes, videos and whatever suckers wants to buy. The GOP is so desperate to find a legitimate Presidential candidate except Romney, that they would push "Peewee Herman" if he ran. The game hasn't changed in 200 years, just the level of stupidity amongst our fellow voters.

Sexual harassment, assault charges, fake news; Is there no decency and respect in America anymore

Since the beginning of our great Republic, there once was respect for privacy and a decent approach to journalism. We never spoke about a colleague or peer who may have strayed. We kept to ourselves and based the overall performance of the man/woman on their overall character and job performance. In today's news cycle we hear everything negative in a 2 minute spin that actually probably, more than likely, has no factual base. No, I'm not speaking about Herman Cain, I'm talking about the POTUS. I've never heard or remember the disdain and putrid comments made about our elected Commander in Chief. Terms like "the anointed one" (Hannity), "Barry Obama" (Limbaugh), "our blacks are better than their blacks" (Coulter), have erased all due respect and decency our country had archived. Thomas Jefferson once said "He who knows nothing is closer to the truth than he whose mind is filled with falsehoods and errors".

GOP Congress polling numbers seriously low; read "How to compromise for dummies"

This GOP Congress polling numbers are lower than the White House, lawyers, insurance companies and bankers; that's so low that it can't be sustained. It seems that they (GOP) don't care or are living in "lala" land. The American voter will vote them out in 2012 wholeheartedly. I hear some lobby jobs are open at Koch Industries; just trying to help. I don't know if there are cliff notes on "How to compromise for dummies" but I should write one. In our 200+ history even great enemies learned to make a deal. This outfit is so focused (in a delusional psychotic dream) that they "must make Obama a one-term President; they have become irrelevant.

THE NEW POLITICS FORGOT ABOUT "THE PEOPLE"

"THE PEOPLE" have lost any semblance of representation over the last 5 decades from what our independence movement struggled for. We have become a society of greed and power and to hell with the rest. Our household debt to GDP became a drunken addict mess since World War II. National wage scales came to a screeching halt and we have no leadership from either party. The Republicans want to kiss ass with Wall Street and the Democrats have no balls. What's real America to do; sit down and talk it out (OWS), demand a new found respect; and it seems that it has grown to a global expression which is a good thing. It will change the way our politicians think and maybe, just maybe put the message in the right hands. Its not liberal versus conservative, its the people rising up against those that took advantage of a long sleeping giant that stole the money bag. Hopefully we will learn quickly and decisively and make corrections that make us a better Nation.

Dysfunctional Dating. Did GOP Waste Time Lusting for Christie

It has been referred to as "Dysfunctional Dating". That is the lust by the GOP for Governor Christie to run for the office of President of the United States. Not only did the GOP waste valuable time, they hurt themselves in their quest to make Barack Obama a "one term President". Now, they are at a crossroads with allowing infighting bred by Evangelical voters anger about Mitt Romney being a Mormon. They have several heads bobbing for attention as they look for anybody else except Mitt Romney. All in all a panic mode has been created. The latest WSJ poll has Herman Cain in the lead this week showing the disrespect for Romney. The only candidate who remains constant is Barack Obama.

Americans are in a shopping cart line

Americans are frustrated and tired. They feel like they are in a shopping cart line a mile long and no items have a price tag on them. They want to buy products, they need products; they'd like to buy American made products, but we know that's impossible; nothing made here anymore. What's the answer? Not what we hear on the pundit shows on any media outlet. It's his fault, it's their fault. Listen guys, we don't give a "damn" who's fault it is, just "fix" the fucking problem. Let's make some decision that are sensible and reasonable. Economic fairness will never please both sides, but it would please the voters. We are desperately asking for attention and not receiving any from "anyone".

The Cheneys- "We just hate Obama"

Former VP Dick Cheney and his daughter Liz were on CNN "Candy Crowley" this morning. It's apparent to any blind and deaf person that they "hate Obama". Cheney will go to his death bed believing that Saddam Hussein had "weapons of mass destruction, and Liz; dear Liz, continues to say that Obama needs to apologize to the American people for his speech and apologies over the "enhanced interrogation techniques" (torture) according to the dictionary. Sometimes you just have to give up, and the Cheney's need to move on. This President has not let up on the gas pedal for killing terrorists, and in fact has killed more in his 3 years than Bush did in 8. It's surprising that you can harp on a subject for years to be relevant and sell books, but it's disheartening that the American public still cares.

Mr. President: The Ship of State will never Change

Washington has always and will always be the junction of indecision and difference of opinion; that's why we call them "politicians". Mr. President, the Ship of State will never change, so just grab the helm and steer on. The members of the right side are never going to allow you a victory on legislation, or improvements or any programs you feel that the American people need or want. The GOP has ramped up its voter fraud scams from old, (they've done that for years) to build support for their agenda. Your recent tour of the U. S. and your change of pace and fortitude within you speech delivery is the change we hoped for.

GOP- GIVE ME FEDERAL DOLLARS BUT NO ONE ELSE

The definition of hypocrisy: a feigning to be what one is not or to believe what one does not; especially : the false assumption of an appearance of virtue or religion  Just ask yourself, if Senator Mitch McConnell asks and receives federal dollars for his home state; and then says you or your state can't have any, what is that? Hypocrisy. If Rep. Eric Cantor asks for federal dollars for disaster relief for his state and says that your state can't have any, what is that? Hypocrisy. It doesn't take a genius to understand what the GOP is doing, it only takes the message. Obama needs to attack the hypocrisy and so do all Democrats.

The GOP is in panic mode; they know they can't beat Obama

The GOP is in panic mode alright. They know they can't beat Obama straight up. They have to stand in the sand at their line and say no to everything his administration is forwarding. They are trying desperately to change the electoral map to help them control the inner cities' voters. Their candidates are mediocre at best and they don't have Palin anymore. Her numbers are lower than Congress. Maybe just maybe the Democrats will grow a spine and call out this game. The American people have figured it out, lets hope Democrat legislatures do.

Its time to scream call harass House GOP

Its time to call your congressmen and women and raise hell. Tell them you want the GOP to stop the talking points and trying to score political points and work with the President to fix the damn things that need fixed. I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired and I know the rest of you are also. Business has no real excuse to sit on their investment dollars except that most of them are Republicans and do not want the President to win or create policy that might let him look good until 2012. Remember when you go to the polls and understand who got us into this mess the last decade. Remember the GOP saying "hey, ok we made mistakes, give us a second chance" and we dumb asses believed them and put them back in power in the House.

THE REPUBLICAN PLAN IS WORKING-SAY NO TO EVERYTHING

The Republican plan for making President Obama a "one term President" is working to perfection. Obama can't or won't be allowed to pass any idea or form any large scale plans his administration wants to become law. The GOP's ads and sound bite minutes are convincing the American voters that Obama's ideas haven't worked. The truth is "they won't ever let it". If you can't pass the House, it won't fly and it's a simple plan. Although in the long term, the American workers are the real losers. If the 2012 election cycle continues to support or re-elect these guys, then it's our fault, our demise created by our own stupidity. If you can't see it or don't understand that one man can't solve our Nation's huge problems, it's our problem, because your vote does count.

These republicans are not Reagan's kind. These republicans are disrespectful, arrogant, snarky and down right committed to winning at any cost-even at the expense of our Nation's credit rating. I've never witnessed such audacity and such abbhorrant spin speech and outright lies coming from politicians who constantly talk about faith and patriotism. Reagan would be embarrased and ashamed of these guys and wouldn't want to shake hands with any of them. WILL THE NEW ELECTED PRESIDENT BE TREATED LIKE OBAMA

Just wondering if the new elected President will be vilified like President Obama has been. He's been called a foreigner, non-citizen, religious outsider, Muslim, Hitleresque, liar, dove, my favorite "community organizer", oh, and also "Black", communist, and a golfer. In all my years of studying politics, I have never witnessed such disrespect for the office of President. Gretchen Carlson; Blond bimbo with a Stanford degree

Stanford is one of our great universities, but to let Gretchen Carlson graduate "cum laude" must of have been a low point in their history. I don't know who she was shagging, but it was the right guy. You only need to listen to her on the couch potato scene on Fox morning show to understand what I mean. Her interviews are shout downs with GOP talking points being fed through her veins at a rapid pace. She clearly received her promotions through her looks, yet not my cup of tea, and only survives for the skirts up to her navel she wears on the show. Fox has a lot of these "former beauty" queens on staff. Oh, I do like to watch flippin' channels to see who's showing the most skin on Fox like all the other guys. But, to think that she really understands economics, or politics is like saying you know why the chicken crossed the road.

President Obama I wrote your speech

Dear President Obama:  Hello my fellow Americans. I want to speak to you directly and without remorse. We as a Nation have become awkwardly dissident and divisive because of left or right ideologues purposefully spinning talking points to benefit re-election, and major donor causes. It's time we looked deep in our souls and become a Nation again of forward thinking people, who will solve intense problems that have formed a cancer on our people. The office of President has  been excoriated, lied about, abused, and downright disrespected long enough. I want my friends from the right and the left to understand that I am drawing a line in the sand, and I will not accept nor endorse any more lies, untruths and falsehoods about our administration. We have been in the hole for over a decade because of reckless financial advice that benefited a few and hurt the many. Americans who didn't deserve it. I ask you now to reconsider what is important, what is fair, and what is our main goal, but to help our people have good jobs and maintain life in general as in the American dream. Therefore I am asking both houses to stand and deliver whatever  funding we can to create jobs in America and I am putting corporate and wall street executives on notice, the good times, or more like the cash cows you have resided over are in fact over. We will no longer stand on the sidelines and let billions of taxpayers dollars be syphoned out of our country.  Be forewarned, we are coming and we will not be hindered in our new endeavors. President Obama needs a new staff

President Obama needs a new staff. It's time to fire the amateurs and get a serious (pro Democratic) team. The GOP is on a manhunt to destroy his election and are not wearing gloves. Obama can give a great  speech but he needs better background help. Politics in Washington is not for the light hearted but, rather a grueling boxing match under the parking garage. Street fighters would do, or maybe hells angels. Stop the sweet talk and get serious. Our great Nation and its people are looking for tough talk and results. Its time to deliver.

Rebels will capture Gaddafi by end of next week

Libyan Rebels have found Gaddafi's hiding place and will capture the colonel by the end of next week. That will solidify the 9/11 remembrance and rise of terrorist mentality. The Rebels need now to begin reconstruction and the building of a democratic government. It should be noted that they must find the billions of dollars he stole from the people and gather it for the sake of solvency of their new government.

You remembers the bullies in school. Walking the halls and tripping the geeks or girls who didn't fit in. We the People have become so complacent that our judgement has been clouded and overrun by right wing radio and tv wingnuts to conquer the political conversation. WE NEED TO CHANGE THE WORLD AS HUMAN BEINGS

I was just pondering the future; for our kids and grand kids. New words have appeared the last couple of decades; fear; terrorism; defcon 1; troublesome words that make life much more stressful than necessary. We have to teach our kids/grand kids/; that fear is no way to live. Simpler times are gone for now, but they can return and we need to lead, not hide. The world is smaller now, and technology has its good and its bad; news around the world is like instant coffee; taste bad and makes you nervous. Let's try and make it a better place; talk about the good times; about the ways we can change the world. Only we as human beings can change lives; not guns, bombs, or governments

Ann Coulter never seems to amaze me in her interviews on TV. She knows exactly what the republican base and teagaggers want to hear. Her devilish style is pre-determined and concise. She spews out lies and innuendos about any democrat she can and her followers, all 3 of them have an orgasmic experience. Ann, get a real job and a new hair do honey, you're looking old.

30 years of economic decline not 3 years

The American people understand that our economy has been in decline for the last 30 years, not the last 3 years as Republicans like to announce. Ever since Reagan's "trickle down" theory was created, we have been spiraling out of control. The weak Democratic talking points don't impress anybody, even their base and especially the independents. What has to happen is control, seamless cooperation between  both parties or we will see the same decline after the 2012 elections. It is beyond one man's or woman's ability to change or fix our system. It has to be all of us. Somehow, someway, we need to come together. Will you cooperate?

President Obama was elected by  majority vote of the people yet, he has not been able to walk in the White House door in a comfortable suit. Rick "the prick" Perry would be assassinated if elected President. A left wing extremist would lay him down ugly in his home state of Texas. DO WE REALLY WANT ANOTHER GEORGE BUSH

People of the world, do we REALLY want another George Bush. How shallow your memories are, how inefficient your brain is. Have we contracted Alzheimer disease. The candidates on the GOP side haven't shown anything amazing that I can see, nor will they. It was only a decade ago that we realized who we had elected (twice) and you see the results, "debtageddon, paralysis, partisan politics, all hell breaks loose" tomfoolery. My senses tell me we are headed their again unless Obama picks up the pace and defends himself. If he thought the attacks were harsh now, just wait a few months when the shit hits the fan and its all out war. Battle for Blair Mountain, Mountain Top Mining

If you didn't see CNN's Soledad O'Brien's documentary on coal mountain top mining you missed a great piece. She showed both sides of the issue reverently and with grace and compassion. It's a do or die situation and one that has been around for 100 years. Until we find an alternate source of energy and can turn our furnaces on or the light switch, you want the miners to risk their lives, you want them to stand on the wall, you need them to stand on the wall.

Ramadan, the Holy Month

When will the next generation of Mideastern people stop hating America. If they would use that energy to make peace, the world would be a better place. Americans have to stop hating also. It seems we don't understand them nor do they understand us. The lies and untruths about the western culture comes from years of schooling their young adults to believe we are evil and they are the chosen ones. Do they really think this is God(Allah)'s plan. I do not know God in that way. Its time to sit at the table of history and listen to each other. Make an attempt to understand and to care about each other. Change is good, change is what God wants...ask him.

A Socialist wrote the Pledge of Allegiance. The Founding Fathers were liberals. Reagan raised taxes eleven times. Reagan legalized abortion as Governor. Nixon created the EPA. Reagan supported gun control. The Constitution is the law, Not the Bible. The Founding Fathers did not free the slaves. The Earth is 4.54 billion years old, not 6,000.  Separation of church and state is in the Constitution, it's called the First Amendment.

BACHMANN; WATCHING ED HENRY PULL THE STRINGS

In an interview with Candy Crowley of CNN this morning, Michelle Bachmann, never answered any questions with a direct, honest answer. In 30 seconds she dropped the name Reagan ; for the base, Pelosi for the anti-government crowd; and Obama for the independents. It was so disappointing to see Ed Henry's hand up her ass pulling the strings, although typical Republican strategy. Why should we believe any thing this "no way she'll win the election in '12" candidate.

THE DEVILS IN DISGUISE

Ever since popular culture has allowed these two personalities to enter our everyday lives, average Americans have heard twisted comments and outright lies on a daily basis.  We got little facts allowed and heavy spin on controversial issues. Americans would be better off reading the "National Enquirer" and looking at pictures of three headed men attacking the neighborhood.   The term "Great American" used by Hannity is a disgrace to our great Republic, and Limbaugh's "ditto heads" can't seem to think for themselves. The downgrade of politics and civic duty has been destroyed by these two individuals compared to the devastation of the bomb in Hiroshima.

9/11

Less than a month from now we will celebrate (sic) the 10 year anniversary of one of the worst days in American history. My only question is; should we have learned something about ourselves in the last decade. It appears that we haven't. We are as unstable now in the political arena as we were on that disgusting fateful day. I think about those poor Americans struggling to breath with grey dust on their faces and in their mouths  that day and the chaos that ensued, as they wander the streets of New York looking for help. Today's legislative puppets have that same look in their eyes; total confusion.

Republicans will never give in

This crop of young idealogues will never give in. They seem to feel the need to stand the post and defend the wall. The word compromise is not in their vocabulary nor will it ever be until they themselves walk in the shoes of middle Americans. This insane attempt to make a name for themselves is hard to understand, given the fact that most Americans can't for the life of them realize what's next. Sometimes I wonder if I'm dreaming when I hear them say the things they do on the pundit shows. Especially the right wing media outlets that know that they are driving the liberal wing crazy also.
If you think this is going to stop anytime soon, you don't understand their precise sentences that they receive in lock step from their wealthy lobbyists who have infiltrated our political system like bees in a honeycomb. It is dangerous times for our great Republic and we have no hero leaders to set things right. The great orators, of which our current President can match, would have jumped down their throats already. Obama does not have the balls to fight; not as I can see.

This new "Super committee" appears to be set. Did the American people have any say in this announcement. Hell no and I for one don't like it one bit. I think that our congressional members have given up and just don't want to handle the unruly kids anymore. If they can't handle the heat, get out of the kitchen. The World Is On Fire

The World is on fire. There's not enough "MONEY" to go around..I miss simpler times when you only worried about what your community wanted..its hopes and dreams...hell we used to worry about getting a new pair of jeans or maybe a used car....now entire countries are broke and there's total chaos..obviously politics has become a bad word.,

but what is the alternative..anarchy, no..governing is what built this country, but personal gain and re-election has taken over for what once was "civic duty". Step back and look for calm quiet debate. This is still the greatest country on earth...we are survivors and we will prevail.
